So you can imagine we were a bit excited when the new Nokia 5700 Xpress Music landed in our office. As the update to the 5300, the 5700 offers everything found on its predecessor but with a new design twist--literally--and improved features. " [1]

The user can simply twist the bottom section of their handset to access the music mode of the Nokia 5700 which provides the user with a play or pause key, stop key & a rewind or fast forward key. The user can view their music information & album art on the 2.2 Inch colour screen which provides the user with up to sixteen million colours on a beautifully clear screen. The music player provides the user with Hi Fi quality stereo sound from their portable music featured 3G smartphone. The music player can play music in MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+ & WMA format. [2]

On the other hand, Mobile Phones UK comments on Nokia 5700 Xpress Music, and wrote that ultimately they're not convinced by the twist design, although this is clearly a matter of personal taste. They also dislike the joystick.

The 5700 XpressMusic does a lot, but not enough when compared to other smartphones.

It's missing any kind of wow factor. It is preferred that the Nokia 5610 XpressMusic which is seen as a better balanced phone, although it's not Symbian. If you must have a Symbian phone, then the Nokia 81 is recommended (which definitely does have the wow factor) or the cheaper Nokia 6120 Classic. [3]

The Nokia 5700 Xpress Music cell phone continues the trend set by the Nokia 5300, offering a satisfying combination of features, performance, and design.

Cons: Different Controls, Bad Photo quality, Doesn't Support the United States. 3G band.
